Delete your account

In the Crossread News Android or iOS app, open Account and select Delete account. Confirm the warning to finish deletion.

What is deleted

Crossread immediately revokes web and mobile sessions, deletes registered devices and alert preferences, and replaces account email and public display-name records with anonymous values.

What is retained

Existing comments are retained as “Deleted member” so moderators and readers do not lose the context of a moderated discussion. No account email or public display name remains attached to those comments.

Need help?

If you cannot access the app, contact the publisher Geos Media RG at mail@crossread.news. Include the email address of the account you want deleted.
